Two years ago the question barely made sense. Now the Bukit has more glass-walled courts than it has good coffee roasters, and the morning games fill up by eight. Where are the padel courts in Uluwatu?

The courts sit across the southern Bukit, the limestone tip of Bali, within fifteen minutes of each other by scooter. Island Padel Uluwatu

Part of the Island Sports Club, Island Padel Uluwatu runs four panoramic courts with a pro shop, locker rooms and an outdoor café you will end up sitting at longer than you meant to. It leans social: classes for newcomers, club tournaments, the occasional sunset session. It is the easiest first stop if you are new to the Bukit and want a court, a racket to borrow and someone to play with on the same afternoon.

The Ground, Bingin

The Ground sits close to Bingin beach and plays it bolder: two covered courts, one open court and a pickleball court besides, painted in pink, blue and green rather than the usual blue. Covered courts matter here. They keep a game on through the midday sun and the wet-season afternoon rain. Open daily from seven in the morning to nine at night, with coaching and a steady social calendar.

Monster Padel, Pecatu

On Belimbing Sari in Pecatu, Monster Padel is the largest of the Bukit clubs: ten courts, a semi-Olympic pool and day club, a recovery floor with ice baths, and a restaurant. It reads as much as a social club as a court booking, open daily from seven in the morning to ten at night. Good if you want to make a half-day of it, court then pool then lunch.

Oasis Padel, Ungasan

Up in Ungasan, Oasis Padel runs six full panoramic courts with a proper recovery corner: jacuzzi, sauna and an ice bath for after. It takes open matches, private classes and group lessons, so it suits the drop-in and the regular alike. Quieter and more residential than the Pecatu strip.

Ola Socials, Pecatu

On Jalan Raya Uluwatu in Pecatu, Ola Socials leads with community. The draw is the social sessions and the coaching through its Ola Academy, less a court rental than a place built for turning up alone and leaving with a game and three new numbers. Book through Playtomic or a WhatsApp message.

Play Uluwatu, Pecatu

Play Uluwatu (listed as Play by Uluwatu Estate on the apps) sits on Jalan Batu Nunggul in Pecatu, open eight in the morning to eight at night, with a restaurant, a cafeteria, racket rental and easy parking. A straightforward, well-kept place to get a game in close to the villas.

The Bukit keeps adding courts, and the count is well past twenty across the peninsula now. In two short years it has gone from no padel at all to a real choice of where to play.

How to book a court in Uluwatu

Almost every padel club on the Bukit books through Playtomic, the app the sport runs on worldwide. Download it, search Uluwatu or the club name, and you will see live court availability, prices and open matches you can join if you arrive without a partner. A short checklist:

1. Book a day ahead in dry season. From April to October the good morning and golden-hour slots go first, often the evening before.
2. Bring or borrow a racket. Most clubs rent solid padel rackets and sell balls; you do not need your own kit to start.

Prices move, and clubs quote either by the court or per player, so read the live rate in the app rather than trusting a number you read in an article. Expect to pay more for a covered court and for the prime evening hour.

When to play, and the heat

Play early or late. The Bukit is dry and exposed, and a midday game on an open court in dry season is hard work. Mornings before nine and the hour around sunset are the sweet spots, cooler, quieter, and the light on a clifftop court is its own argument. The house among the courts

The Azoria Padel Club opens on the clifftop with five courts, one of them a central court, the padel soft opening set for September 2026 and full play from October. Booking will run through Playtomic, like the rest of the Bukit. The difference we care about is not the court count.
